This edition features 34 chapters, an increase from 30 chapters in the previous (sixth) edition. The four newly introduced chapters are: Metabolism of Alcohol, Instrumentation and Techniques, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Industry, and AETCOM Module 1.1.The content of the seventh edition has been extensively revised to align with the CBME approach. Clinical approaches, case studies, and image-based questions have been incorporated across all chapters to enhance applied understanding. Most chapters now include clinical cases, diagnostic approaches, image-based questions, insights, new illustrations, and images of relevant disorders to reinforce key concepts. To facilitate learning and retention, each chapter concludes with a comprehensive assessment questions, which includes long answer questions, short answer questions, scenario-based case studies, reasoning questions, multiple choice questions (MCQs).
