Every year a large number of students appear for the FMGE/MCI screening examination.As per my knowledge, there is not even a single book in the market with last year’s solved question papers.Need of a book, specially focusing on the requirements of the students appearing for this examination, was felt since a long time.Through this book, I have tried to fill that lacuna by providing solved and fully referenced last five years’ papers.For the convenience of the readers, I have divided the questions as per the subjects and subdivided them under various topics. All the answers have been verified from the latest editions of standard textbooks and short notes have been provided along so as to have an in-depth knowledge of the topic.If we look retrospectively at why such a book was still lacking in the market, then the most obvious explanation is—due to the lack of a well-defined question bank. Believe me, it took me almost two months to make my question bank.As usual, the problem with memory-based questions’ recollection is that most of the questions were incomplete.I had to sweat a lot in reconstructing them and keeping utmost care in maintaining the originality of the questions
asked.
Through this book, I take the opportunity to inform everyone concerned about my coaching centre (DRKAMALKV’S FMGE CLASSES) exclusively dedicated for the preparation of FMGE/MCI screening examination. There will be short batches of 25 students only. This will not only help me pass my knowledge to the students about the examination and the ideal way of preparation to get the optimum result, but also give me an opportunity to get feedback regarding the improvement and better presentation of this book, so as to make it a complete study material for this examination. It will also provide me an
opportunity to reconstruct the question papers as soon as possible after the examinations, so that further edition of this book can be carried out.
To err is human and I am no exception to this. Despite all my efforts, I am sure some errors must have crept in.As an author, I have done my level best to provide you the maximum that I can, but I am sure that there is still a lot more room for improvement in terms of question bank, errors in answering/printing matter and presentation of the book.The major problem, which I personally feel as an author, is the availability of the questions after the examination.Unlike other examinations, like All-India or State Pre-PG examinations, where the author himself can appear in the examination and, hence, can reproduce a good number of questions asked, I cannot appear in the examination and, hence,I am totally dependent on you for the question bank.So, it is my humble request to you to share the questions generously so that this book can be updated regularly. All the students doing this favour will be duly acknowledged in the subsequent editions of the book. In the end, I would like to wish you the best of luck in all your endeavours.
