This yearbook focuses on vascular and endovascular surgery-2. An endovascular surgery is a minimally invasive surgical technique that is used to treat a variety of diseases, with surgeons accessing the affected body parts via the major blood vessels. This book consists of 17 chapters, which include negative pressure wound therapy in lower extremity wounds, compression therapy, ABC of sclerotherapy for varicose veins, acute lower limb ischemia, cancer-associated thrombosis, newer modalities in management of varicose veins, vascular graft infections, management of ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm, diagnosis and management of vasculitic leg ulcers, Paget–Schroetter syndrome, solutions to complex arteriovenous access, the vascular amputee, anesthesia issues in vascular surgery, ethical choices in vascular surgery, and spinal cord ischemia in aortic surgery. The Yearbook 2018 covers the recent concepts in the management of a wide range of the vascular disease spectrum. In this edition, chapters on conditions like Paget–Schroetter syndrome, anticoagulation in cancers, compression therapy and vasculitis have been included. Management of varicose veins and dialysis access still continue to be the backbone of vascular practice and discussions on them have been included as well.
